Hot Chocolate With Hazelnuts

Ingredients |

750 ml milk
250 ml cream
50 g sugar
2 spoons cocoa powder
1 cinnamon stick
1 vanilla pod
70 g Dorina or other cooking chocolate
75 g hazelnuts
150 ml whipped cream

Bake the hazelnuts in the oven and peel them. Finely chop the peeled hazelnuts and mix with the sugar. In a saucepan, pour milk, cream for cooking, cocoa powder, cinnamon and the hazelnut and sugar mix. Cutting the vanilla pod in half, take out the seeds and add to the milk, then add the rest of the vanilla. As the mixture comes to a boil, turn down the heat and continue to simmer for 20 minutes. Pour the mixture through a fine sieve, then return to the saucepan with the finely chopped chocolate until all contents have melted. Serve warm or cooled in a serving cup with whipped cream and some finely chopped hazelnuts.
