Depending on the time that you are able to give to MWNF and on your specific interests and experience, we offer different levels of involvement in the following activities:

Guided visits to the Virtual Museum´s Permanent Collection and Exhibitions: become a MWNF Virtual Museum guide at the Discover Islamic Art partner museums in Egypt, Jordan and Tunisia (only for residents in one of the three cities). The guided visits take place in the galleries or other suitable locations of each museum for groups of up to 25 participants who watch a display of the Virtual Museum on a big screen.

MWNF Education: participate in the development of lesson material based on the Discover Islamic Art Virtual Museum.

MWNF Travel: join the team of the MWNF Travel Info Desk answering questions from potential tourists or help in the promotion and marketing of our thematic tours.

MWNF Exhibition Trails: collaborate in monitoring the 105 thematic itineraries of the MWNF Exhibition Trails in 11 countries around the Mediterranean basin and help us to keep our Database updated (providing information on changes to opening hours of museums, monuments closed or under restoration, cultural events to be included in our agenda etc.).

MWNF Books: help us to promote the Book platform.

Fundraising: join our team taking care of fundraising.

Or make your own proposals.

Requirements: fluent English; Arabic highly appreciated; Italian and Spanish useful; fluent French required for involvement in activities in the Maghreb countries.

Your name will be included in the list of MWNF Volunteers that will be published under About MWNF. In addition, volunteers who have contributed to the activities of MWNF for more than three month will receive a certificate.
