Set up in cooperation with the MWNF Partner Institutions, the Exhibition explores five thematic areas: Water and Agriculture in Islamic Civilisation; Domestic and Urban Sphere; Religion and Spirituality; The Symbolism of Water in sacred Texts, secular Literature and Science; Contemporary Context: Water in the Islamic World today. The curatorial team composed by experts from different cultural backgrounds, explores the central role of water in Islamic civilisation, presenting it as the origin of life, a sign of divine mercy, and a shared ethical trust.
