One year after the training course in Innsbruck, Austria (1997), the production managers of the participating countries came together after the signature of EU funding of Islamic Art in the Mediterranean project of MWNF within the framework of MEDA/Euromed Heritage Programme to establish the criteria for further steps based on a “one year” experience in their own country. This special workshop focused on the technical details of the production in each country taking the different conditions in each country into the consideration in order to have a uniform product at the end.
