In this exhibition trail a story of syncretism in Ifriqiya throughout 13 centuries is told. Artistic forms of assimilation, reinterpretation characterised by the continuity of the traditions inherited from the Berbers, Carthaginians, Romans and Byzantines are demonstrated through the selected monuments.
