Description:

The Kunstkammer of Rudolf II contained over 100 Turkish knives and daggers. This is a particularly sumptuous example of these knives used mainly as flatware; its iron handle is decorated with gold damascene work. The leather scabbard is embellished with rubies, turquoises and Arab inscriptions.
