Description:

This bowl was decorated with an eight-lobed cartouche in the centre, with a flower garland surrounding a central flower head. The walls are adorned with vertically disposed, wavy bands, every second one further enhanced by leafy stalks. These bowls were made in Southern Hungary and the Balkans and used for personal, ritual and religious occasions.
