Description:

Titled "Une maxime opportuniste", this cartoon by Alfred le Petit condemns the French invasion of Tunisia and points to business and French capital's blame. The poster shows a man bent over under the weight of a sack, full to the brim with silver, whilst a first quadrant on the right shows soldiers going to war, and another on the left shows a man depositing his money. Beneath, the striking line, "(Tunisia's) affairs are the money and blood of others".
