Cairo, ever attractive jewel of the Eastern Mediterranean holds the examples of one of the most advanced stage in the development of Islamic architecture and decorative arts though simple and pure they remianed: the Mamluk monuments. Not only in Cairo but also Alexandria, Rosetta and Fuwa are part of the Exhibition Trail here visitors are invited to find out more spleandour and magic of the Mamluk sultans.
